Wedding photographer, Jeff Ascough was spotlighted in this months Kodak ProPass online magazine: http://www.kodak.com/global/en/professional/member/ProPass/magazine/V505/ascough.jhtml
You can also visit his webpage at http://www.jeffascough.com/

Photographer John Sexton was also spotlighted. Here's a quote I like:
“Dr. Edwin Land,” he continues, “who invented the POLAROID Process, made the following statement: ’Anything worth doing is worth doing to excess.’ I think that if you are really going to be serious about photography, that is probably a good motivational statement. I find you have to immerse yourself in it. And it’s in those periods of immersion that the greatest rewards occur.”

You can see Sexton's work here http://www.johnsexton.com/ and http://www.kodak.com/global/en/professional/features/legendsV5Q2/intro.jhtml

I haven't added to my blog in a while, I don't really have time but I found some links I want to keep up w/ and I'm on the laptop. I've just finished reading the Artist's Way by: Julia Cameron and have been looking at more links on artist journals and related links. I found this site on watercolor journaling which is nice, I haven't done any watercolors in my sketchbook/journal (yet.) Here's the link: http://www.watercolorjournaling.com/index.htm Also, another site mentioned using Fisher Space Pens because they write even if they're upside down. They're expensive ($20 or $30) but they're really nice and I'm sure they have refills. That's all for now. I'm shutting down the computer to watch a little of Finding Neverland on DVD before I go to sleep. Tomorrow is the Art Show at EC...

You're The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe!

by C.S. Lewis

You were just looking for some decent clothes when everything changed
quite dramatically. For the better or for the worse, it is still hard to tell. Now it
seems like winter will never end and you feel cursed. Soon there will be an epic
struggle between two forces in your life and you are very concerned about a betrayal
that could turn the balance. If this makes it sound like you're re-enacting Christian
theological events, that may or may not be coincidence. When in doubt, put your trust
in zoo animals.
